With recycling procedures, we bring waste materials back to life, thereby shortening construction deadlines and reducing costs. Cold on-site recycling has proved as a successful alternative method in reconstruction of roads or replacement of pavement constructions. The advantage of the on-site recycling method is that we can use materials from a pavement construction, stabilize them with binders, mix them homogeneously and then install them in a recycled form. Thus, the negative impacts on the environment are reduced as no new materials are required and no landfill is necessary for existing materials since they are recycled and re-used. The time for rehabilitation is reduced and consequently also the time of traffic closure. The cold recycling procedure is the most economical procedure for the rehabilitation of pavement structures on stabilized road surfaces.
